MUN  CORPSE, he/it, 30+       DISCORD  available upon request       PLOTTING  open

Hello! My name is Crow, though I also am called Corpse. I am an old rper, with many years under my belt and have been playing this game for 10 long years. I enjoy both short and long form rp and I'm always excited to meet new people, even if I'm a little quiet in the beginning.I can be contacted in game under the name Corpse Husband on Balmung, Crystal data center. I dont give out my discord frequently, but if we meet and chat I will be willing to share it. While I don't normally have a preference, I don't mind in game rp but prefer discord sometimes as I have a hectic and spontaneous life that prevents me from being able to sit down for an rp session. Discord makes posting easier, as we can post at our leisure. I enjoy all rp: humorous, dark and yes, I will dabble in erotic if the rp steers in that direction. I will not focus solely on ERP. I prefer such things to happen between those I am closer to, or we have been rping long enough together.

RULE ONE: IC DOES NOT = OOC. Lohen's words, attitude and actions do not reflect this player's real life ideals, feelings or actions. If there is shipping involved, I do not allow IC to bleed into the OOC. I ask that we simply be respectful and friendly to each other as any normal pair of people playing barbies would be.
RULE TWO: I cannot, and will not, dedicate my entire life to RP. It's a hobby, something I enjoy and love to partake in with others. I do have real life responsibilities and a job that come first before RP. Please understand.
RULE THREE: If we are to explore darker themes, I will not partake without full discussion and consent first. I am open to such things, but they must be discussed thoroughly and both parties must agree on the ideas, boundries, etc.
RULE FOUR: Shipping is not the main focus of my roleplays. I don't mind them! I would love to explore such things, but I prefer story flow for it. Story comes first to me above all else, and if things flow correctly, then they flow!

Lohen's first memory was the cold. The air was frigid, the snow he was left in freezing. The absence of a loving family. It was all cold. He couldn't gauge how old he was, but the kind lady who found him and took him to the orphanage guesstimated perhaps five summers. It was there that Lohen first knew just a hint of warmth. The other kids looked at him strangely at first — “your ears are weird and furry!”, “how come you're so pale? you're gonna blend in with the snow!” — but soon came to call them one of their own. How painful now, that he could not remember their faces.
It had been just a few months before something came over Lohen. A hunger. When he looked at his friends he saw something that made his stomach churn: food. A part of him was whispering to him that the children, his friends, were nothing but flock. He could see their blood thrum beneath their skin, humming and full of life, ready and waiting for his empty stomach, his parched throat. No matter how loudly the voice spoke to him, how much his body ached for something, Lohen never gave in. Instead, he fed off the rats in the orphanage late at night. Once everyone had gone to bed, their caretakers long asleep, Lohen would find and catch rats, feasting on the blood he sought. It wasn't enough, the hunger was still there, but it staved it off for a time.

Lohen's favorite place was a small library in the tiny village. He practically lived there after the Hunger began, too afraid to be with the other children as they played lest he finally gave in. There were many books in there: tales of knights and dragons and princesses, of buried treasure in far away lands. Some books even spoke of each race, such as the Elezen he was surrounded by. However, he could never find anything about people like himself: those with the traits of a hare. While somewhat disappointed, he did find something else. A book buried in the corner of the library. It was dusty, the binding dark, the pages older than the librarian asleep at the front desk. Lohen sat on the floor and thumbed through said book, reading for what felt like hours. It was there he found it, the Hunger. There were creatures that also had something similar, a want and insatiable need for blood. Vampires.
Lohen slammed the book shut. There was simply no way that's what he was, what he was suffering with. Clearly it had to be something else, couldn't it? No. No. He refused to believe it. Lohen shoved the dusty book of creatures back into the shelf it was lodged in and tried to forget about it, opting instead to read the books about knights slaying evil.

For several years Lohen had forgotten about the book. He had learned how to live off of the rats and the caretakers seemed pleased that their orphanage boasted nary a pest in sight. Lohen had just turned fifteen summers. Perhaps a bit too old for the orphanage at that point, but he stayed to help with the children coming and going. He spent his days in the library, playing withe children and learning swordplay. In the end it would not be enough. It would not stop the darkness coming for his sunny dawn.
The village would be attacked. Creatures of the Void, the things Lohen saw in that book all that time ago, came flooding into the village. A village of nothing but farmers, not knights. Of bakers, not fighters. Of families, not armies. Lohen and his simple shortsword were not enough. When the blood began to flow, Lohen's Hunger came full force. It wasn't long before he suddenly found himself in a pool of a neighbor's blood, covered in it, drinking from it desperately that he finally found his Hunger sated. There were others like him amongst the rabble, feeding off of the people he knew. They looked at him in kinship, of smiles too grotesque and red. One of us. they said. Never. Lohen said. With a new found power within him, fueled by the life of his fallen neighbor, Lohen slew each and every last voidsent. There was nothing but Death in the village, now as quiet as a graveyard. Lohen was alone, left in the cold all over again. All the warmth was gone, the only kind was resting in his belly that he immediately retched onto the stained snowy ground. In the viscera Lohen made a vow: never again would any other fall to the same fate as his formor home. No child, no mother, no farmer, no baker, no one would fall to the Void if he had any say in it.
If he was meant to hunt, then he would hunt.
